Maureen R. Healy is an experienced and successful advisor to Executive Compensation Committees & Boards of integrated healthcare systems and other 501(c) organizations.

Her expertise include:

  • Facilitating the critical relationship between the Board and CEO
  • Advising Succession Planning Committees of the Board
  • Supporting the development of newly promoted and emergent leaders
  • Guiding executive team relationships: adding new members; reconfiguring teams
  • Designing women’s leadership initiatives

Maureen received her undergraduate degree in Finance from DePaul University, where she graduated with Highest Honors and was elected the first female president of the DePaul Student Government Association. She later received her Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law, graduated Order of the Coif and started her legal career in tax litigation with the global law firm of Mayer Brown.  From there she joined Hewitt’s (now AONHewitt) Executive Compensation Practice and became a thought leader in the area of best practices in executive compensation at large, complex not-for-profit healthcare systems.  In 2000 she established herself as an independent consultant and in 2010 earned her designation as a Professional Integral Coach from New Ventures West and her certification in the Leadership Circle’s 360º Profile.  In 2013 she published her guidebook, “Water for Swans and Landings for Eagles: The Definitive Guide to Designing Successful, Inclusive Cultures”.  Her book was selected in 2014 to be featured by getAbstract, the world’s largest independent online library of the best business book summaries.

Maureen serves on the Advisory Board for the DePaul Driehaus College of Business and is Chair of its Membership Committee. She is a former member of the Mother McAuley Board of Trustees.Maureen currently resides in the Chicago area with her husband and son.
